LEICESTER have launched a GoFundMe effort after the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park was hit by vandalism this week.
The stadium was targeted on successive nights with significant damage caused just weeks before the start of the new season.
Track equipment and perimeter fencing have been badly damaged, and this leaves the club facing substantial and unexpected repair costs as well as a race against time to be ready for racing.
The GoFundMe is at https://gofund.me/f9a72c454 and the Lions would appreciate any support from the speedway community as they work to repair the stadium.
