JYE Etheridge has become the fifth rider to agree a return to Sheffield for 2026.
He joins Jack and Chris Holder, Anders Rowe and Leon Flint on the list of returnees from the side that finished last season with Rising Star Luke Killeen the only new name announced so far.
Etheridge was part of summer team changes for the Tigers in 2025 and he will start the new Premiership campaign at reserve alongside Killeen.
Team manager Simon Stead said:
“It was a bit of a tough one for ‘Reggie’ last year because he came in after a good chunk of the season had already gone, and at the time he wasn’t 100 per cent fit.
“Despite that, we still saw some glimpses of what he’s capable of and it’s his attitude that I like.
“I think being in the team from the off will benefit him a lot, and being at reserve again gives him a really good platform to build from.”
